Sturridge Goal v Bolton
First Half

Chelsea defeat Bolton 5-1. Daniel Sturridge scores two, Lampard gets a hat trick. Daniel Sturridge starts the scoring early in the first half. Putting himself on the board in the second minute by heading
the ball into the net off a corner. Of course it would be Sturridge who would score the opener against Bolton, the club with which he was on loan last season. Later on Chelsea struck again in the 14th minute with some pretty passing. At midfield Lampard flicked the ball over to Mata, Mata then passed it to Ramires who back heeled it right back. Mata dribbled for a few steps than passed it to Sturridge right outside the 18 yard box. Sturridge passed the ball into the box to Lampard who then tapped it in passed the Bogdan, Bolton's second choice keeper . Sturridge struck again in the 24th minute when he shot from the edge of the box. A pass from Luiz to Sturridge outside the box. Sturridge then shot and it ricocheted of the diving keeper and into the top of the net. In the 26th minute it was 4-0 Chelsea. Luiz dribbled into the midfield and fired a bullet at the keeper. The ball bounced out of his arms and Lampard tapped it in. That would be his second of three. It stayed that way until the end of the first.

Second Half

Bolton scored right after the break, off a free kick. Boyata headed the ball in off a wonderful free-kick.
Lampard would finish off his hat trick in the 59th minute, when  Cole lobbed the ball in to Drogba who passed the ball to Lampard. He got the ball right back and passed the ball in to Lampard who would put it in the bottom corner.
5-1 Full Time.
